Congratulations to the Warrior football team on their first round victory in the state football playoffs on Wednesday evening. The Warriors will travel to Clear Lake on Monday evening to play the Clear Lake Lions at 7:00 PM. As a result of the distance of the game site and the start time of the contest, the following changes to the school schedule and calendar will need to occur.
1. Monday will be an early release for the
Sioux Center Community School District.
The release times will be the same as on every Wednesday schedule,
Kinsey Elementary School will dismiss at 2:05 PM and the Middle School/High
School will dismiss at 2:18 PM.
2. There will be no afternoon preschool on
Monday.
3. The Board of Education work session that
was scheduled for Monday evening has been cancelled.
Please look for additional information regarding schedule
changes with Parent Teacher Conferences scheduled for Tuesday evening should
the Warrior Volleyball team win this evening.
